CornerStone Medical is hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract in Grapevine, TX. This role focuses on adult critical care within a fast-paced cardiopulmonary environment.
Assignment Details:
• Location: Grapevine, TX
• Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift: Night (NOC)
• Specialty: Cardiopulmonary – Adult Critical Care
• Interview Process: Phone/Virtual
Requirements:
• Active Texas RRT / RCP License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA Only)
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Strong experience in adult critical care
Position Overview:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides advanced cardiopulmonary care by assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol, and ventilator support
• Perform invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
• Respond to emergency situations including CPR
• Evaluate patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly
• Educate patients on respiratory equipment and therapies
• Accurately document treatments, outcomes, and charges
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Must pass criminal background check, drug test and have up to date immunizations
