Location: Cary, NC|Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $39.00–$41.00/hour
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (Occasional Saturday remote shift, quarterly rotation)
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports oncology patients with specialty drug therapy adherence and side effect management through virtual case management. Success is measured by compliance with regulatory documentation standards, accurate adverse event reporting, and patient education that enhances treatment continuation and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Counsel new and existing oncology patients via phone on specialty drug therapies; no direct patient care or home visits
• Educate patients on side effects, treatment alternatives, and therapy adherence
• Document all interactions in EMR according to industry regulations and good documentation practices
• Ensure adherence to manufacturer, FDA, and accreditation reporting requirements
• Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact license
• 3+ years of nursing experience, including 1+ year acute or inpatient care
• Oncology or chemotherapy administration or pharmacovigilance experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication; experience with motivational interviewing

• Web-based documentation and compliance systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Oncology Certification
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to interpret practice standards and technical procedures
Must pass a criminal background check and Drug Test
