Work schedule: M-F 9a-6pm (Occasional Sat- Quarterly Rotation-Remote)
Work location & Type: Onsite Saturdays (Remote)
Required skills: Prefer at least three years acute care experience in oncology or chemotherapy administration or pharmacovigilance reporting. Oncology Certification preferred, not required. Must be Registered Nurse with Multi-State compact license, ability to obtain licensure in other states

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Counsel and educate new/existing oncology patients on specialty drug therapies via phone (inbound and outbound calls) -No direct patient care or home visits
Adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations as indicated by drug specification
Complete, thorough and accurate documentation utilizing good documentation practice and compliance to industry standards and regulations using EMR
Discuss potential/current side effects with patients to educate about treatment alternatives and facilitate ongoing therapy adherence
Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to the manufacturer, FDA, and/or other governing authorities
Are there any particular traits your ideal candidate should have?
Experienced, fully competent in oncology/hematology nursing care.
Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, basic computer skills
Are there any licenses/certifications required/preferred?
Registered Nurse with current unrestricted multi-state compact state license (NC)
*Oncology and/or Hematology Experience Preferred
3+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of acute, inpatient care preferred
Strong Computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet and web-based programs
Effective orally and in writing communication, experience with motivational interviewing preferably
Ability to read, analyze and interpret practice standards, professional journals, technical procedures and government standards and regulations
Must pass a criminal Background check and drug test
