Registered Nurse -- Behavioral Health, Denton, TX (13 Week Temp Assignment)
We are currently seeking highly qualified Registered Nurses - for a psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. The Registered Nurse will be uniquely trained to provide care to seniors who have exhausted their psychiatric days.
Pay up to $39.00/hr DOE | Shift: Night and Day. The shift is 7p-7a or 7a - 7p
Responsibilities and requirements of the Registered Nurse- RN:
The rehabilitation nurse is a nurse who specializes in helping people with mental disabilities and chronic illness attain optimal function, health, and adapt to an altered lifestyle. Rehabilitation nurses assist patients in their move toward independence by setting realistic goals and treatment plans.
Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of CPI Non-violent Crisis Intervention before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental competency exam.

- Maintain excellent working relationship with the medical professional and other health related facilities and organizations.
- Promote Company philosophy, mission and objectives within and to customers outside the hospital.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities and complete duties within allotted time. Willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
