CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Waxahachie, TX. This is a great opportunity to work in a specialized Gastroenterology setting within an ambulatory and medical center environment.
Assignment Details:
• Location: Waxahachie, TX
• Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• On-Call: Required (Weekend call rotation)
• Setting: Ambulatory & Medical Center
• Interview Process: 1 Virtual Interview
$58HR
Requirements:
• Active RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology (GI) experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a GI clinical setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and care plans
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
