4x10s or 5x8s (must include either Saturday or Sunday)
Pediatric Hospital
CornerStone Medical is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13 week contract with a pediatric hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of function
- Set individualized goals and making discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice
- Provide direct PT treatments according to standards of practice, including patient and family education, progression of treatment plan and implementation of appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Report on patient progress through appropriate written documentation including evaluations forms, progress notes, education forms
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, family and other members of the health care team relative to patient treatment and progress as well as other affiliated agencies with regard to effective discharge planning
- Assume other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate tot the position and area
- Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed in the State of Texas
- 1-2 years of job related experience
- Pediatric experience HIGHLY preferred
- CPR/BLS Certification
- COVID vaccination
- Must pass drug screening and background check
