Pharmacy Technician needed in Memphis! (temp to perm) Pharmacy Technician
Memphis, TN?|?Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $19.00/hr
• Thursday–Friday: 9:00am–7:30pm; Saturday & Monday: 8:00am–6:30pm
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports pharmacy operations in a central fill facility, assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, inventory control, and fulfillment workflows. Success in this position directly impacts prescription accuracy, timely delivery, and compliance with state pharmaceutical standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in a central fill environment
• Operate and monitor automated sorting and counting equipment
• Manage manual entry, picking, replenishment, and packing of prescription orders
• Receive, store, and inventory pharmaceutical supplies
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and complete required documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License
• Reliable transportation to onsite facility
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Automated fill/sorting systems
• Inventory management software
• Prescription labeling platforms
• Basic Microsoft Office applications
• In-house pharmacy systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in a high-volume central fill environment
• Strong attention to detail in medication handling
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical compliance protocols
