Schedule:
2nd Shift: Pay - $19.70/hour
Monday 1pm – 11:30pm
Tuesday – Friday 2pm – 11:30pm
Every 3rd Saturday 12p – 830p (Rotational Day off)
3-6 month temp to hire!
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
*Medication Dispensing-
• Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
• Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
• Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and
cases of product.
• Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
• Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
*Inventory Management-
•Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
*Compliance and Regulations-
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Indiana Pharmacy Tech License
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience
- Able to lift up to 30lbs
- Standing/walking continuously during the shift (8+hours per day)
