• $22/hour
• Mon–Fri 10a-7p or 11a-8p (training from 9a-6p before switching to normal shift
JOB DETAILS:
-Responsible for answering patient inquiry calls and correspondence professionally and courteously as well as researching/resolving any issues or concerns patients may have with their accounts. May also be responsible for contacting insurance carriers, patients, and other facilities as needed to get maximum payment on accounts and identify issues or changes to achieve client profitability.
-Quality Assurance Standards and HIPAA rules must be always adhered to. Good listening skills and patience are necessary.
-This job requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle complex phone calls about patient accounts and insurance inquiries.
-Training provided. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum 2+ years of pharmacy tech experience, counseling patients
• Must be able to work 10a-7p or11a–8p
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Call handling and phone systems
• Internal patient profile databases
• Microsoft Excel or similar for data verification
• HIPAA-compliant communication systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• High attention to detail in data-heavy environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
**Must pass a background check and drug screen**
