Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor

CornerStone Medical is in need of a clinical pharmacist supervisor for a pediatric hospital working 12p-830p Monday through Friday.
***Must have Hospital experience, past supervisory experience is highly preferred***
Job Duties:
•Provides technical/clinical direction and supervision to pharmacy staff. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and standards.
•Provides leadership, direction and supervision of pharmacy staff including regarding hiring, discipline, training, and performance evaluation/management in line with Just Culture and HR policies. Administers organizational and departmental policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis to ensure a safe and effective workflow.
•Ensures that all staff have adequate and ongoing training to enhance and assure job performance
•Works in collaboration with Pharmacy Director and Process improvement team to implement, evaluate and improve quality management programs. Participates in designing, implementing, evaluating/improving systems, methods and processes designed to enhance quality, improve service, and enhance cost effectiveness
Qualifications:
•Must have pediatric experience
•Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy
•Minimum of 3-5 years of pharmacist experience in a hospital system
•Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas
•Texas pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment
•CPR - BLS is required
