Cornerstone Medical is seeking dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT's) for a rewarding contract opportunity at a State Supported Living Center in San Angelo TX , a specialized facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Position Details
- Openings: 2 OT's
- 6 month contract 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.
Role Overview
Under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager, the LVN will provide direct patient care and clinical support in a structured, team-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Complete Occupational therapy assessments.
- Perform treatments, creates home based plans, monitoring of plans for implementation and effectiveness.
- Attend client centered meetings or provides information when needed.
- Performs skills based competency training for staff
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, including participating in team meetings, training clients and staff, and quality electronic record documentation.
- Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Occupational Therapist Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas.
- Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility.
Minimum Requirements
- All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Facility
- Maintain current Occupational Therapist license with the State of Texas. Maintain CEUs for licensure.
- Must be in “good standing with Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Sensory Integration assessment and treatment planning
- School based therapy and collaboration with teachers
- Outpatient Occupational therapy services
