Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art hospital? Cornerstone Medical is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Waco, TX. The OT will provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to inpatient patients while collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Position Highlights
- Assignment: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Setting: Inpatient Rehab

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and charge entry.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Provide patient, family, and staff education.
- Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Maintain compliance with organizational, state, and national regulations.
Qualifications
- TX Occupational Therapist License
- BLS – AHA
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient OT experience
- Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans
