Job Description
CS Medical is looking for a Nuclear Med Tech for one of their premier clients located in Tarrant county.
• Pay Rate: $50/hour
• Length of Assignment: 6 months
• Work Location: Bedford, w possible floating to Keller and Arlington
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:30a-4:00p
• Years of experience: 2 years
• Certifications/Degree Requirements: AART, BLS, CNT
Job Description:
Under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs nuclear medicine procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
Must be able to perform high quality nuclear medicine procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner. Able to explain the procedure and put patients at ease. Able to provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies and procedures. Able to effectively administer first aid and use emergency cart. Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge, continued education and skills appropriate care for the following age groups (specific to department): newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric. Able to perform tasks independently without need for routine Radiologist or management oversight.
