Medical Review Nurse- REMOTE

CornerStone Medical is looking for a highly  qualified and experienced  Medical Review Nurse for a  premiere corporation in Fort Worth, TX. The  Medical Review Nurse is responsible  for collecting  supporting data and analyzing  information to make decisions regarding accuracy of billing. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:
  • Appropriately document work and final conclusions in designated computer program
  • Understanding of Surgical Implants Understanding of Data Base Capability to enhance productivity monthly.
  • Be a team player working with management/supervisors in a positive team environment
  • Additional duties/responsibilities as assigned
  • Comply with all safety rules/regulations, in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (“ IIPP”), as well as, maintain HIPAA compliance


Qualifications:
  • Current RN license  in the state of  Texas
  • Minimum of 5 years in the Operating Room either circulating RN or scrub RN
  • 5+ years of acute care facility clinical experience with emphasis on implants
  • Experience in medical bill auditing  
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, and use critical and strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated outstanding leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to think and work independently, while working in an overall team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain expected volume requirements as established by Department supervisor
  • Maintain an accuracy rate of 98% or higher
