We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory assays.
- Evaluate the validity of results obtained to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues promptly and effectively.
- Perform and review quality control and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Accurately report results and perform other assigned duties.
- Conduct established tests and procedures under the supervision of a supervisor.
- Interpret and report test results accurately to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
- May perform duties in various areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, RIA/Serology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology.
- Perform tests and studies for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
- Adapt to varying workloads and assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (if Medical Lab Scientist).
Associate's Degree (if Medical Lab Technologist).
Completion of a Clinical Laboratory Science program.
Eligibility to test for ASCP certification (ASCP certification preferred but not required; AMT certification is acceptable).
1+ to 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
