Per Diem
1 Hour Outside Philadelphia
We are seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our team.
This role includes:
- Administering ionizing radiation for screening and/or diagnostic mammograms according to established protocols.
- Demonstrating understanding of breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Maintaining accuracy in breast positioning, exposure techniques, and imaging evaluation to optimize patient care.
- Integrating technical skills and patient interaction to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a physician.
- Utilizing independent judgment and critical thinking to ensure diagnostic accuracy, seeking direction from MQSA qualified interpreting physicians or institutional policies as needed.
- Remaining sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients through effective communication, assessment, monitoring, and care.
Per Diem Requirements:
- Work a minimum of 2 shifts per month (6- or 8-hour shifts).
- Shifts may include days, evenings, and Saturdays
- No holiday or on-call coverage required
Certification and Licensure:
- BLS Certification
- ARRT Certification and Board Certified in Mammography
- RT (R) (M) (ARRT)
Required Skills:
- New Grads encouraged to apply!
- Entry level role, less than 1 year experience
- Minimum Education: Associate's Degree
