**2 yrs of experience REQUIRED**We are hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses for a State Supported Living center in Big Spring TX that serves the IDD population.
6-month contract
Sunday through Saturday
Available shifts: 2pm-10pm
Standard pay: $40hr
Weekend pay: $41.50hr
DESCRIPTION: The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
- Perform computer data entry – Receive full training.
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
- Must possess valid LVN license.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
- Must comply with immunization requirements.
- Must submit to required drug test.
- Must submit to required fingerprinting.
- Must complete the training facility required.
