We are hiring an LVN for a Heart & Vascular clinic in the DFW area

Responsibilities
- Initiate, perform, and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations
- Accurately complete patient care based on the patients' conditions, using clinical judgment for the order and sequence of procedures and treatments
- Observe, identify, and respond to the patients needs including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications across various methods (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous) and perform treatments according to established protocols
- Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations, seek assistance from RNs and doctors, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Education: Certificate from an accredited community college, junior college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the State agency and the state Board
- Licensure: Must have an unrestricted LVN/PN license
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for this role
- Minimum of 2 years of practical or vocational nursing experience
- Current Immunizations & must pass a Drug test and Background check
