What You’ll Do
As the Director of Surgical Services, you will oversee the full continuum of perioperative care, including:
- Operating Room (OR)
- Pre-Op & PACU
- Endoscopy
- Cath Lab
- IV Services & Non-Invasive Units
- Lead strategic planning and daily operations across surgical services
- Drive quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
- Optimize workflows, staffing, and resource allocation
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Joint Commission
- Champion staff development, education, and clinical excellence
What You Bring
- MSN (required)
- Active RN license + BLS certification
- 3+ years of Director-level leadership experience
- Strong background in surgical services and perioperative care
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive outcomes
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Schedule & Details
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-Call: Required (weekend phone availability)
- Interview Process: 2 rounds (virtual/phone)
- Facility: 148-bed acute care hospital
