Job Description

Registered Dental Hygienist
$53-$55/hour DOE + benefits
Monday-Thursday 7:45AM-3PM (Friday’s available if wanted)
Part time or Full time available

Position Highlights:
-75 minutes per patient
-1 hour per quad for SRP
-no pediatric patients
-Dentrix
-Cavitron
-Digital X-rays
-1 hygienist, 1 DDS
-loan forgiveness program available

Location Schedule:
Monday: 7122 Gessner Road Houston, TX 77040
Tuesday: 10918 ½ Bentley Street Houston, TX 77093
Wednesday: 7340 Spencer Highway Pasadena, TX 77505
Thursday: 6400 Bissonnet Street Houston, TX 77074

Daily Responsibilities:
- Provides preventive dental services (cleans, scales and polishes teeth) with skill, care and good judgment
-Places dental sealants as prescribed
-Documents patient treatment and related correspondence in electronic dental chart
-Takes prescribed dental radiographs
-Communicates dental treatment information to patients, parents and clinical staff
-Demonstrates proper oral hygiene techniques
-Performs infection control and instrument sterilization according to dental policies and procedures
-Performs procedures to identify and document stages of gum disease
-Participate in school based and community events to promote oral health

Minimum Requirements:
-Texas Dental Hygiene License
-Valid driver's license
-BLS for Healthcare Providers
- must pass a background check and drug test
