Certified Pharmacy Tech, DATA ENTRY exp and PTCB REQUIRED
Cary NC
Payrate: $22/hr
Work schedule (days & time): Monday to Friday 11am to 8pm is the shift but the training is from 9 to 6pm every day on site. Training is usually a couple months
Hybrid once fully trained
Required vs. preferred skills: CPhT and registered with board of pharmacy
Need someone with extensive data entry skills. Need someone with good attention to detail. Good Communication skills- able to patient patient’s charts.
Need someone able to read clinic notes and patient charts. Need good documentation.
Need someone with good attention to detail. This is a data entry position. We are a closed door specialty pharmacy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received
• Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient
• Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing
• Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing information, or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
• Updating concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral
• Enter new provider information (i.e., National Provider Identifier) accurately into the system so that the Business Intelligence group can complete their reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• High School Diploma required
• Healthcare experience/2+ years pharmacy experience preferred
• Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required; must be current, without restrictions
• Prior experience working in a Pharmacy setting required
• Effective communicator
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Competent in basic computer skills
• Multi-task oriented
• Ability to effectively work with people
• Conscientious and detail oriented
• Flexible and adaptable
Must pass a criminal background check and Drug Test
