Schedule: M & W 7:30AM-4:00PM, T & TH 8:00AM-5:30PM, F 7:30AM-1:00PM
Pay Rate:$17-23/hr depending on experience
CornerStone Medical is looking for Certified Medical Biller Coder for an allergy and asthma clinic, located in Dallas, TX.
The Certified Medical Biller Coder follows up on outstanding A/R for all payers. They are responsible for handling all correspondence related to an insurance claim or patient account. They gather and process information needed to complete medical insurance claims and claim denials. They must be able to provide direct assistance and reporting to the Billing Manager as well as coverage when the Billing Manager is not available. This person is to be extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to communicate professionally. This position involves running and reviewing reports, identifying barriers to reimbursement, and finding resolutions for denials. Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Claims Follow-up and reports
- Claim appeals, reconsiderations, denials
- Insurance Payment posting
- Insurance Verification
- Reconciliation of ACH Deposits
- Monitor reimbursement rates
- Medical records request for Insurance Claims
- Insurance letters and/or refunds
- Assist staff with billing questions
- Claim scrubbing and sending
- Support management on special projects
