Pay: $19-$22/HR DOE

***Must have 1-2 years podiatry or medical practice experience***
CornerStone Medical is looking for Certified Medical Assistant for a Foot and Ankle facility in the Grapevine, TX.
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant: Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during office visits and other tasks related to the visit consistent with his/her training and skills
•Assures efficient patient flow through the office, rooming and performing vitals, scheduling appointments
•Prepares patient for examination, help with seating, taking on and off shoes, removal of bandages
•Removing sutures, fitting DME, shoes, and bracing
•Patient Education
•sending and receiving referrals, orders, results, as well as scanning and uploading into charts
•Other duties as assigned – i.e. opening, closing, stocking, cleaning and sterilizing equipment
