Dallas, TX | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity | Monday–Friday | $18–$21/hr DOE
CornerStone Medical is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for an exciting 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established outpatient specialty clinic in Dallas, TX. Position Details
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $18–$21 per hour (Based on Experience)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Must be willing to float to an additional clinic location within 15 miles
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments
- Room patients and prepare them for exams, procedures, and testing
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed
- Perform routine clinical testing and specimen collection
- Process EKGs, blood draws, and urine specimens
- Remove sutures and staples; perform dressing changes as directed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR
- Clean and prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Educate patients and support a positive patient experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Orthopedic, Oncology, or Total Joint experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
