We are hiring a Practice Manager for a  Cardiovascular Practice Manager in Dallas Texas.

Office Operations:
    • Manage daily administrative functions including staff scheduling, patient intake, and office workflow to ensure smooth operations.
    • Oversee and manage administrative and support staff, ensuring a high level of performance and adherence to company policies.
    • Coordinate facility maintenance and ensure office supplies and medical inventory are well-stocked.
  • Revenue Cycle Management:
    • Lead and manage the revenue cycle process, including patient registration, insurance verification, coding, billing, and collections.
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and collaborate with the billing team to optimize reimbursement.
    • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing, collections, and cash flow, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
    • Develop and maintain revenue cycle management processes to ensure compliance with payer guidelines and government regulations.
  • Athena Software Management:
    • Utilize Athena (billing and RCM software) to manage billing, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management.
    • Ensure that all billing staff are trained and proficient in using Athena for efficient revenue cycle management.
    • Regularly audit and update the system to improve billing and coding accuracy.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all office procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
    • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and maintain policies and procedures related to patient care and administrative processes.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and to improve efficiency.
  • Staff Management and Development:
    • Hire, train, and manage administrative staff, including front office, billing, and scheduling personnel.
    • Provide ongoing performance evaluations, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff.
    • Foster a positive, patient-centered work environment that promotes teamwork and high-quality care.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare, monitor, and manage the office budget, including revenue projections, payroll, and expense control.
    • Work closely with the finance team to provide regular financial reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
    • Implement cost-saving strategies and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of office management experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years of revenue cycle management experience.
    • Proficiency with Athena billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) software is mandatory.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, and collections processes.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Preferred:
    • Cardiovascular background or experience working in a cardiovascular clinic/ASC - Nursing or Administration experience
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to healthcare facilities, including HIPAA and OSHA.
