**2+ years of RECENT CST OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED in a Hospital setting**
(call requirements are about 4-5 days per month which will include weekdays and weekends. Call during the week starts at 5pm-630am and call the weekend is 24hrs 7a-7a on either Saturday or Sunday. They must report to the hospital within 30mins when a call case is scheduled)
1 week of Orientation/ training in Fort Worth
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm
Pay: $45-50/HR (DOE)
We are looking for a dependable CST for a busy Pediatrics Center in Prosper, TX.
Job Description:
To provide skilled technical care to the pediatric patient in the operating room according to their identified needs. This care includes but is not limited to: performing in the role of Scrub Nurse or First Assistant to the Surgeon and is delivered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. These functions are guided by the documented nursing care plan. The responsibilities are primarily directed to technical skills including the use of surgical instruments and equipment. There is close collaboration with other members of the surgical team.
Requirements:
- Current CST
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- BLS through AHA
- all updated immunization records
