We are hiring floating Bilingual Registered Dental Assistants to support three public health clinic dental programs with assignments rotating based on operational needs in Houston TX.
Super Smile Savers Program and Community Dental Services Program location services:
• Fairbanks Library: 7122 Gessner Road, Houston, TX 77040
• James Driver Park: 10918 1/2 Bentley St., Houston, TX 77093
• Olson Park: 7340 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505
• Bayland Community Center: 6400 Bissonnet St., Houston, TX 77074
• Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Mobile Dental Unit
• The reporting location will be the 7457 Harwin Office; however, these roles will require travel to support community events.
• Hours are generally 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Daily Responsibilities Performs all duties required to assist the dentist with patient care, takes prescribed dental radiographs and/or intraoral photographs; provides instructions to the patient under the guidance of the dentist; performs infection control and instrument sterilization; perform preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly); assist with appointment scheduling
Required:
6 months experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Bi-lingual Required
Must have BLS
Must have Dental Assistant Certification w/TMB
