Nurse Practitioner
Hours: M - F 8:00am -4:30pm
Pay Rate: 56.39per hr
CornerStone Medical is looking for qualified nurse practitioners to conduct medical screenings in Dallas County at a Refugee clinic. This role consist of being in compliance with approved medical practices as well as local, state and federal standards, to include taking patients medical history, examining patients, ordering/ interpreting x-rays, laboratory and other diagnostic tests. Also conferring with physician as appropriate and relieving the physician of routine duties as well as procedures. Refills prescriptions in collaboration with supervising physician. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Must have Bachelor’s degree and have related clinical or public health experience
- Prior experience in clinical healthcare settings in the USA, and the ability to communicate effectively with members of the Dallas County, outside health care providers and members of the general public over the phone, is of paramount importance.
- Must be highly competent with data entry.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current TX NP license
- Must posses a valid TX drivers license
- Ability to successfully pass security clearance
- At least two years of NP experience
- Bilingual Preferred- Dari, Pashto, Farsi Spanish, Arabic
