Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Professional Practice: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Develop and update patient care plans to optimize outcomes and transitions.
  • Patient Advocacy: Promote ethical and holistic care, respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and values.
  • Facilitates Learning: Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and the healthcare team. Provide formal and informal education.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure patient and environmental safety, integrate evidence-based practices, and use data to improve outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and practice to the top of your license.
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate care teams, delegate appropriately, and collaborate with inter-professional teams.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire
  • National Provider NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics) upon hire
  • 1 year Antepartum Nursing experience
  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire (preferred)
